This year Conklin Tree Farms will receive a Trees For Troops FedEx Ground trailer that needs to be filled with Christmas trees for the U.S. military personnel and their families. Conklin Tree Farms is asking you to help them FILL THE TRAILER!!!! Come out and help us make Christmas better for our military personnel and their families. For every tree that is put on the trailer, Conklin Tree Farms will donate $5 to the Christmas Spirit Foundation, a non-profit charity that helps to preserve and improve green spaces to benefit the environment.
Trees For Troops has a goal of providing 17,000 donated Christmas trees this year. These trees will be taken to 35 military bases and given to the families that live there. Let’s help make the goal a reality!
Conklin Tree Farms is one of only two locations in Wisconsin that are getting a trailer. So come to Conklin Tree Farms this holiday season and help them FILL THE TRAILER!!!!
FILL THE TRAILER weekend is November 30 – December 2. Let’s show the military personnel that the people of Wisconsin care about them and want them to have a happy and joyous Christmas season.
If you know someone in the military -- either in the United States or overseas -- Conklin Tree Farms would love to hear your story. Feel free to email your stories to us or come and talk to us in person. The people at Conklin Tree Farms are not that far removed from having family serving over seas. Our granddaughter’s fiancé, Adam, has a brother who is soon to be deployed over seas. This cause is very near and dear to our hearts and we hope that you will come and help us make sure our trailer is full this year.
Conklin Tree Farms would like to thank you ahead of time for your generosity and your Christmas SPIRIT!!! It does not matter if you can only give a little, it is the thought and the action that counts.
If you are not able to afford a whole Christmas tree ($20), come and donate what you can. All the money donated will go to put more trees on the trailer. Conklin Tree Farms and its employees are looking forward to seeing you and helping to make your Christmas a memorable one!
